Full Project Management Service

This is our fully integrated service. We embed ourselves in your project from day one as your project managers and the primary point of contact with Innovate UK. From set-up through to project close, we lead, so that day-to-day grant management simply isn't your team's problem.

We lead on:

  • Setting up your IFS portal and managing the full due diligence process, coordinating and chasing document requests

  • Reviewing your budget and forecasts,

  • Providing reallocation advice to maximise budget utilisation, including accommodating our fees within your grant

  • Management of collaborators and partners

  • Building your project toolkit: project plan, risk register, timesheet and finance templates

  • Preparing and leading your Innovate UK kick-off meeting with your Monitoring Officer

  • Running your monthly project management meetings with work packages leaders, tracking progress and managing the risk register

  • Reviewing your project finances on monthly basis against eligible cost categories to maximise your funding and flag issues early

  • Preparing reporting documents and presentations for quarterly reviews

  • Attending and leading reviews with your Monitoring Officer

  • Handling all funder follow-up questions and submitting your financial claim via IFS

  • Managing all end-of-project reporting and the final claim through to formal project close

Best for: Teams who want grant management taken off their plate entirely, and who value an experienced, credible presence representing them to the funder.

Claims Only Service

A lighter, predominantly finance-based service for teams who are comfortable running their own project and managing their own Monitoring Officer relationship, but who want the claims process handled by people who know it inside out. With this service, Innovate UK may not even know we're involved, we work quietly in the background.

We handle:

  • Setting up your IFS portal and managing the full due diligence process, coordinating and chasing document requests

  • Reviewing your budget and forecasts to maximise budget utilisation, including accommodating our fees within your grant

  • Reviewing your project finances on monthly basis against eligible cost categories to maximise your funding and flag issues early

  • Preparing your finance slides and sense-checking your quarterly review presentation before you present it

  • Guidance on how to handle specific Monitoring Officer questions

  • Preparing and submitting your financial claim via IFS each quarter, and supporting the Independent Accountants Review process

  • Preparing and submitting your administrative project close documents and final claim

Best for: Teams who have the project management in hand and just want the claims done correctly and on time.
